Try this new Organic Roasted Bhindi Masala Recipe. We guarantee you will love this dish. This process of cooking yields a dry dish which is used as your main dish and can be consumed with bread, or naan.
SERVES 4
250 gm lady’s finger, washed, wiped and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 onions cut lengthwise
1/2 tsp organic amchur
2 tomatoes cut lengthwise
1 tsp organic coriander powder 1/4 tsp organic red chilli powder 1 tsp organic cumin powder
1/2 tbsp organic turmeric
Salt to taste
Mix all dry masalas.
Mix half the masalas with the lady’s finger and steam for approximately 3 min till it is tender.
In a wok, sauté the onions till golden brown.
When done, add tomatoes and the remaining dry masala.
Cover with a lid and leave it for 2 min. Add the bhindi and allow everything to mix in well. Cook for another 5 min.
If you like it slightly dry, you can place the cooked bhindi in the oven and roast it for approximately 10 min.
Variation–replace bhindi with any other vegetable like cauliflower, parval, gourds.
